Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Anik are the premium voices of the UFC’s broadcast teams. The trio has been recognized by the fans through their voices and when these three get hyped up, people know that something good is about to happen in the fight or the event. Although the lineup may experience occasional changes, typically attributed to Rogan’s demanding schedule that limits his international travel for fight commentary, Cormier recognizes that when a significant bout takes place, he contributes to the finest broadcasting team in the realm of combat sports.

“DC” recently had a conversation with “MMA Fighting” where he explained the relationship Rogan, Cormier, and Anik share between the broadcast team. Cormier said, “We have become a trio — me, Jon, and Joe — when it comes to pay-per-views, where when you want to feel like it’s a big night, you hear those voices and you see us on the screen.”

He went on to draw a parallel between football and UFC, emphasizing that much like the commentary of Jon Madden and Al Michaels ignites the passion of football fans, their commentary also fuels the enthusiasm of UFC fans. “When Jon Madden and Al Michaels and those guys were on Monday Night Football, you knew you were watching Monday Night Football, and now you get that with the UFC. He further added that they have the best job in the world and he resonates with Rogan and Anik. “[Rogan and Anik] always look right to me and go, ‘We have the best job in the entire world.’ I’m like, dude, nothing compares,” Cormier said. “It’s not even close. I get goosebumps at the table because I’m such a fan of fighting.”

Cormier underscored that the collaboration between Rogan, himself, and Anik is now as formidable as any in other sports, and people are increasingly recognizing this. Further in the conversation, Cormier commended the entire broadcast and analyst team for their contributions, highlighting the positive impact on the overall quality of the coverage.

The latest addition to this roster is Laura Sanko, who progressed from conducting interviews and reports to commentating fights in the Contender Series. Eventually, she earned a spot on the UFC commentary team. In August, she made her debut on the UFC 293 pay-per-view, where Sean Strickland achieved a significant feat by defeating Israel Adesanya in the main event.

“You know who does that more than anyone? Her and Megan [Olivi]. Megan Olivi, Laura Sanko, and Jon Anik are the most prepared human beings I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I’ve never seen people prepare at the level of those three. For Laura to do what she’s been doing from UFC quick hits to the Contender Series and now calling fights, it’s been tremendous.” said Cormier.
