Joe Rogan’s Close Friend Lays Bare Embarrassing Encounter With Conor McGregor’s Mother: “The Most Regrettable Picture I Took Was With Maggie McGregor”

The standup comic Bert Kreischer had a dream outing last month when he crossed paths with the UFC star Conor McGregor. The comedian met the Irish fighter at the latter’s famed pub, The Black Forge Inn, and experienced an evening worth remembering for ages. While the charisma of the former UFC champion mesmerized him, he also took home a stack of snaps along with him. Not only did the comedian witness the tender side of the Dublin-born superstar, but also amassed anecdotes worth telling to his audience. Further, his insane meeting snippets included his typical ripped shirt-off pictures with the ‘Mystic Mac’ while he carried the UFC belt on his shoulders. However, one of his “regrettable” pictures from the evening happened with the Irishman’s mother, Margaret McGregor.

Notably, the 50-year-old expressed his repentance about the same on the latest segment of his popular podcast, Bertcast. In ep.# 562, he sat down with Shane Torres, Mark Smalls, and Lacie Mackey, as the bunch relieved the vivid experience of the encounter with ‘Notorious’. While the group recalled their own accounts of the evening, ‘The Machine’ also shed light on his embarrassing image.

The reality TV host mentioned he had to stand on a step to bridge the gap between their heights. However, the picture didn’t match the expectation of the individuals involved in it.

He said, “I will say that the most regrettable picture I took was with Maggie McGregor. Conor’s mom. And she wanted to stand on a step so that we’re the same height roughly.”

Following this, he added, “And so that put me on a step in front of her. So I was about eight inches standing in front of her. And she is an old, small Irish woman, and I look like I’m about 400 pounds.”

Subsequently, the actor asked to put the image on the screen. After revealing the same to his co-hosts, he drew a hilarious parallel with WWE legend, Andre the Giant.

Hence, “Look at me and Maggie McGregor. I look like I’m f*cking massive. I look like Andre the Giant.”

The image also prompted humorous reactions from the co-hosts. While Lacie Mackey pointed out that Margaret McGregor looks like she was inserted into the frame, Mark Smalls stated Kreischer held her like a ventriloquist dummy.
