UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently talked about his tormented childhood. The 55-year-old has previously mentioned growing up without a father as he has noted his father left him and his mother when he was only 7. With Rogan opening up about his childhood again, his father Joseph Rogan Sr. (80) addressed the Spotify podcaster’s comments.

Joe Rogan and his father never reached out to each other despite the Newark-born becoming the world’s number one podcast host. Rogan’s father has remained out of the limelight. But in a recent interview with The U.S. Sun, Mr. Rogan Sr. conveyed his thoughts on his son’s comments where he cited the 80-year-old’s past behavior as’ crazy’.

Joe Rogan’s father wants to join his son after nearly 50 years

A former New Jersey cop sent a candid message to his son.

“I’m on my way out. I’m 80 years old, I’m in the rearview mirror. But I would like to see him,” (h/t The U.S. Sun) said Joseph Rogan Sr.

The 80-year-old continued, “I definitely would sit down with him because he needs to listen to my side of the story. He never asked.”

“He doesn’t know how much it hurt me, and what I had to go through.”

The JRE host is known to listen to the other side of the argument, but will he be inviting his father on his Spotify podcast or any personal setting would be an interesting move!

The former Fear Factor host did not have happy memories with his father. Talking about what he remembered from his father, Rogan said, “I got to see someone who just can’t keep it together.”
