Joe Rogan pokes fun at Neil Young for leaving the platform two years ago
Joe Rogan and Neil Young have had beef over Rogan’s anti-vax positions in the past. With Rogan’s immense audience and his relationship with the streaming platform, Young decided to boycott Spotify for over two years due to the audio giant continuing to platform the podcast host for spreading “disinformation”.

During the episode, Rogan stated, “By the way, Neil Young came back to Spotify. Congratulations, Neil… His excuse was he said that because all of the platforms are now allowing my disinformation, he should just go back on Spotify too. Great to know you got some ethics.”
Young pulled out his music from Spotify two years ago due to one of Joe Rogan’s guests in his podcast, Dr. Robert Malone making baseless claims which stated that people who have had COVID-19 in the past should refrain from getting vaccinated as it puts them in more risk. With Rogan having 11 million listeners, Young believed that it was irresponsible and wanted nothing to do with a platform that does not care about false information being put out.
There are quite a number of people who believe that the podcast host is controversial. However, Rogan doesn’t discriminate from having open discussions in his podcast. This could be the very reason for the success of the Joe Rogan Experience.

This could be credited to Rogan having guests from all walks of life on the show. The popularity of the podcast has made its partner in the streaming go to huge lengths to get Rogan to sign with the company once again.
