Joe Rogan and Elon Musk share a respectable relationship. Time and time again, both of these individuals have come forward to defend each other. When Musk bought X (formerly Twitter)back in 2022, there was widespread criticism regarding the employment of free speech under the new administration of Musk, who restructured the entire X(Formerly Twitter) team from scratch. Many people accused Musk of restricting free speech and stated that they would leave the app, but Joe Rogan came forward to defend his old friend in his approach.

Such is the friendship between them. Well, in his latest escapade with stand-up comedian, libertarian political commentator, and podcaster, Dave Smith on ‘Joe Rogan Experience #2153’, Rogan emphasized that he would go to any extent to support Elon Musk. “He’s my favorite billionaire. That dude’s wild—he’s a wild boy. I will buy Teslas as long as they sell them, just to support that,” said Rogan.

He further added, “They’re dope, but yeah, just to support him. Man, you need an Elon Musk in this world. You need a wild boy.” Well, people might be harsh on the tech mogul but he has the support of Joe Rogan and his audience to back him up.

Another interesting fact about the duo is that their political inclination and views match each other, as was evident when Elon Musk doubled down on Joe Rogan’s statement about depression in Americans.

The time when Elon Musk supported Rogan

When Joe Rogan sat down with journalist Abigail Shrier on JRE #2109, the duo had a conversation about the growing cause of depression among Americans. Shrier argued that the reason why people are more inclined towards mental depression is due to the fact that people have a pattern of thinking about the problems in their lives doing that. Rogan was flabbergasted by the assessment and immediately agreed with her.

He said, “I never really considered that until your book; till I read the title of your book and read the synopsis of it, I never really considered it. I never considered that thinking about your problems all the time and talking about your problems all the time literally can make the problem grow.” According to her, this rumination could be stopped just by exercising or even running errands.
