One of the highly anticipated events of the year is the upcoming UFC 304 event in Manchester. After the successful completion of UFC 303, the fans are hoping to see yet another action-packed night. The fight card is loaded with some of the best fighters in the promotion looking to live up to the expectations. Former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub will also be watching the event but with a few more guests. While speaking to Bryan Callen, Schaub made an important announcement about his plans for UFC 304. But how is Joe Rogan involved in the whole? Let us find out.
56-year-old Joe Rogan on most UFC events sits behind the commentary desk to make his presence felt. However, he is not traveling for the UFC 304 event but will analyze the fights on his JRE Fight Companion podcast. The UFC color commentator this time around will be joined by Brendan Schaub, Gordon Ryan, and Tony Hinchcliffe on his JRE Fight Companion show. Notably, a few years back, Rogan announced his decision to not travel for the international PPV events, as they consume a lot of his time and hamper his other work and family time.
Notably, the announcement regarding Rogan’s live during the event was made by Schaub in his podcast, ‘The Fighter and The Kid’. During his UFC Fight Night show on June 22, Bryan Callen, along with Schaub, was part of the discussion on his JRE Fight Companion episode. The three had watched the live together and extensively shared their views.

Callen, however, will be missing out this time and Schaub reminded him about the same saying, “Oh you are going to miss the companion dude.” He then shared the details of the guest who will be joining him for the show. Schaub added, “It’s me, Tony Hinchcliffe and Gordon Ryan.”

The commentary team for UFC 304 will be headed by Michael Bisping and Daniel Cormier. ‘The Count’ was absent from the last event and will be joining ‘DC’ this time around. While the 56-year-old will not be interviewing fighters inside the Octagon, he will have an elite company to sit back and enjoy the event. Talking about fighting one of the biggest attractions of the night is the welterweight title clash between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad.
Rogan, who has been a long-time associate of the UFC, has seen some of the best fighters inside the Octagon. But what does the JRE host feel about ‘Rocky’? It seems, that despite being absent from the event, he has already picked his favorite for the fight.

Joe Rogan praised Leon Edwards for his sublime technique and striking
32-year-old Leon Edwards has worked his way to the top despite being an underdog in most of his fights. However, the champion might just face his greatest challenge to date in his career in his next fight. ‘Rocky’ will be taking on the lethal Belal Muhammad in the upcoming UFC 304 event for his title defense.
The pair previously met in UFC Fight Night 2021 but the fight ended as a no-contest because of an accidental eye poke. Since then ‘Remember the Name’ has developed as a fighter and many feel he is walking into the fight as a favorite. However, Joe Rogan might just differ from the rest.

During his JRE Fight Companion podcast, while witnessing the UFC Fight Night event on June 22, Rogan seemed highly impressed by the champion. While speaking to Bryan Callen, he said, “Also Leon Edwards is the best striker in the division. He (Edwards) is the most technical, the most dangerous. I love watching Leon. Just the way he moves. Just the technique, the precision. Everything is just so. It’s just like what you want to see in an elite striker.”
Edwards will look to prove Rogan right when he takes on Muhammad in his title defense. The champion will be desperate to prove that he indeed is the best in the division. Will he be able to defend his title against an in-form Belal Muhammad? Or will we see a new welterweight champion in Manchester? Let us know your prediction for UFC 304 in the comments below.
