“I am not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once. I’ve said no, every time,” said Joe Rogan in one of his conversations way back in 2022. Well, this statement might have backfired on the podcaster as the US presidential candidate has been stopping at every popular podcast before his 2024 elections, but not the most popular ‘Joe Rogan Experience’. It should be ͏noted ͏th͏at ever͏y po͏dcast that i͏nvit͏es Trump garners a m͏assive ͏amoun͏t ͏of views an͏d strong audience retention. In ͏light of thi͏s, Rogan’s͏ fan͏s believe his position as the champ͏ion of the podcasting͏ realm may be at ͏risk.

Last week, des͏pite Trump’s appeara͏nce ͏on ͏Theo Von’s podcast, he ͏was unable to ͏oust Joe Rogan from the top spot o͏n Spotify͏’s ͏ranking.͏ This w͏eek as ͏well, even with the former͏ president ͏jumpi͏ng f͏rom one podcas͏t to ͏an͏other, Rogan’s ͏position as the champ͏ion re͏mains͏ i͏ntact. Let’s have a look at this week’s ranking of the 57-year-old’s podcast.

Joe Rogan will not be defeated so easily

After appearing on Theo Von’s podcast, Donald Trump wasted no time and engaged himself with another podcaster with a humongous reach. The former US president will now be appearing alongside Lex Fridman on his podcast. Fridman took to X and wrote, “I’m doing a podcast with @realDonaldTrump soon. Let me know if you have any questions/topic suggestions.” One could state Fridman as one of the most pro-Trump podcasters out there, as this is not the first time that he has invited him to his show. Interestingly, after Trump’s assassination attempt, Fridman wished him well.

Does Donald Trump’s appearance on his podcast mean he will surpass Joe Rogan in the latest rankings? Well, if you think like that, then you are dead wrong as this week’s podcast ranking has come up and the 56-year-old has again ranked at the top of the Spotify rankings. It is been months since Rogan has been ousted by anyone on the Spotify podcast rankings.

Well, there’s a reason why Rogan keeps his dominant status despite the competitors trying their best to take the throne away from him. In his conversation with Jack Symes on “JRE #2193”, the podcaster emphasized, “Well, first of all, we have lots of podcasts and lots of hosts. It’s just that this one is the most popular for some strange reason, but that’s not my fault. I mean, I can’t alter it because it’s too popular; that’s ridiculous. One of the reasons why it’s popular is that I talk to a bunch of different people about a bunch of different things.”

Does Joe Rogan's success without Trump support show that true talent needs no political crutch?

Have an interesting take?

The 56-year-old has a rather diverging opinion when it comes to Donald Trump. After the assassination attempt, Rogan took to his podcast to say that the officials allegedly knew that there would be an assassination attempt, but they still let the former POTUS take the stage. He said, “It’s so crazy and the fact that they had such poor security… Like they did such a terrible job.” It must be noted that Rogan, in his latest conversation, has talked about how this has helped Trump much more than hurting him.

Rogan discusses how Donald Trump has capitalized on the situation

While having a conversation with CIA covert operations officer Mike Baker, Joe Rogan emphasized that Donald Trump might have used his failed assassination attempt to sway away voters in the swing states. It must be noted that the swing states were the reason why Trump lost the elections during the high time of COVID. If we were to look at the polls now, then it might look like Trump has an edge over Kamala Harris.

“If he [Trump] had just walked that civil line…Because the Democrats, they would have gone crazy because they wouldn’t have known what to do, but they also wouldn’t have been able to help themselves. They would have thrown the hand grenades again, as usual. And then you’d have Trump over here, being the reasonable one. Being the reflective and civil one,” said Rogan.

Regardless, will Joe Rogan invite Trump to his podcast in the near future? We don’t know, but what’s your stake on the hubbub? State your thoughts in the comments below.
