Sean Strickland is one of the most entertaining fighters of all time. The way ‘Tarzan’ is unapologetic and uncensored on most occasions has quickly made him rather famous. And we know he’s not putting up a character either.
Joe Rogan was recently speaking with a guest when the idea of sparring for practice came up. Rogan spoke about how Strickland is almost always sparring. This conditions him to take on big fights no matter what time of the year it is. In fact, the fights don’t even have to be inside the Octagon. Here’s what Rogan said.

Because of his overly outspoken nature, perhaps Strickland could come under any one archetype. Is he the good guy everyone loves or the bad guy who talks trash about every fighter? On more than one occasion, Strickland has used his words to belittle fighters and opponents like Israel Adesanya and more. Does this come from the confidence he gets from the sparring?
“Then there’s guys like Sean Strickland that spar constantly,” Rogan said. “UFC middleweight champion who is a gun nut and really knows how to use guns yeah out of all the guys. Trains. I mean you see every photo that he has he does YouTube videos just’s f*cking ARS on the wall behind him like he’s not f*cking around kids he’s ready. He’s so marketable as like an anti-hero but also a hero you know.”
Rogan brought up the time Strickland had to confront an unfortunate drunk man on his doorstep. The CCTV footage clearly showed Strickland walk out and get into a scuffle with the man in an instant. As always, ‘Tarzan’ doesn’t back off from a fight.
Clearly, by putting a bite to his bark, Strickland can certainly lay out harsh truths. He is one of those people who won’t do anything to soften the blow. Press conferences, interviews, and brawls inside the Octagon—it’s all the same in Strickland. So who is he beefing with now?

Strickland puts the rising Irish star in his crosshairs
One of the most recent victims of Strickland’s merciless bashing is none other than the Irish star Ian Garry. The fighter is currently booked to fight Vincente Luque at UFC 296. So what went wrong between the two? It happened after Garry’s girlfriend published a book that put their relationship under the scrutiny of fans and fighters alike.

“You know I never talk about a fighters girls but f**k. I almost feel bad for Ian Garry at this point. Bro, your girl is a succubus. :/ Sorry, bro, it happens to us all once. You got played…… #wag hope you have a good prenup.” Wrote Strickland in an X post. This would later lead to Garry threatening to sue Strickland for the same. Will the drama lead to a court case? Perhaps this time Strickland crossed a line, but knowing his nature, he probably won’t regret himself.
