Joe Rogan Talks About the Transformation of Elon Musk’s “Stupid” $44 Billion Purchase

The UFC color commentator Joe Rogan is friends with the billionaire entrepreneur and investor Elon Musk. Musk has also appeared twice on Joe Rogan’s podcast show, The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan admires Musk’s work and often praises him.

When the billionaire purchased Twitter, Rogan was thrilled and couldn’t contain his excitement on camera. In a recent episode of his podcast show, Rogan spoke about how harmless Twitter used to be when he was discussing how we are living in a technocracy. A Technocracy is a type of government that is based on the concept of technology.

Rogan told his guest, “It’s interesting because I think these entities that are part of the technocracy, these immense tech companies. It was not their idea to do this. Twitter was just trying to come up with a thing where you can like talk to your friends.”

“Remember when people would put like @Jamie Vernon Is going to have pizza. Do you remember the earliest days of Twitter? That’s what people would do. Now imagine that that stupid thing would go on to be like the number one source of information.”

The podcast host also discussed how Elon Musk plans to change the Twitter system and how he is working on a way to eliminate all fake accounts.

Joe Rogan praises Elon Musk’s Tesla cars

Rogan is an avid car collector and loves his vintage whips. The UFC color commentator is a multimillionaire and boasts a fantastic car collection. A few of his cars are a customized 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser, a Porsche 911 and also a gt3, many restored vintage cars, and also a couple of Teslas.

Out of all these cars, Rogan praised his Tesla the most. He said, “A four-door sedan that looks very sedated looking, it’s very family car looking. That thing is the fastest car I have. I have race cars, I have like crazy fast cars. I have like muscle cars, I have a Porsche 911 gt3. That car leaves that car in the dust. That Tesla buries them all. If I have to choose one car to drive, it’ll be that car. If I only had to narrow it down to one car. Because it’s so effortless.”
