Have you ever daydreamed or imagined seeing $1 million in cash in front of you? If you have then you’re not alone. However, if someone drops 1 million cash on your desk, how would you react? This answer was given by none other than Joe Rogan as Craig Jones showed him what $1 million in cash looked like. Even a million-dollar podcaster had not seen that much cash in real life and BJJ legend Jones decided to shock him. The whole ordeal took place in JRE MMA Show #157.

This incident happened almost 2 weeks ago and now Rogan finally revealed the intrusive thoughts that he had at that time and it included some running. 

Joe Rogan wanted to do the unthinkable with the $1 million

Action Bronson, a musician, chef, painter, and author got to be the lucky one to hear the secret in episode #2164. He came onto the JRE show to promote his new album “Johann Sebastian Bachlava the Doctor”. The duo was talking about the US dollar and its valuation when the conversation went to the stunt done by Jones. Rogan revealed that Craig Jones showed him what 1 million US dollars looked like in cash. He revealed his intrusive thoughts after he saw that huge amount.

Rogan said on his podcast, “Criag Jones came in here and he had a million dollars in cash. And I wanted to run away with him I wanted to grab that bag and run. You see a million dollars in cash just piles of hundreds like this is crazy.”

Anyone would want to run away with a million dollars in cash if they saw it in front of them so Rogan was not the first one to be guilty of that thought! However later on the conversation went on to the state of the world, the rising debts, and all other devastating financial situations. Interestingly, even Jones was not showing the cash just for the sake of it but to give a message. What is that message? Let’s take a look!

Craig Jones’ purpose behind showing $1 million

When he came onto Joe Rogan’s podcast, he decided to shock the host by making it rain 1 million dollars on his desk. But why did Jones put the huge amount in front of Rogan? Craig Jones decided to hold a BJJ tournament and according to him the proceeds of the same would go to a good charity. Even the tournament’s website Craig Jones Invitational portrayed the organization as a nonprofit that was dedicated to elevating sports and compensation of athletes while raising money for charitable causes.

He wants to build awareness of the payment that athletes receive while also persuading the ADCC to increase the prize money for the fighters. The event was already grabbing attention and to make it more hyped, Jones pulled out the prize money in cash to not only show Rogan but the world as well.

This cash is in line for two weightlessness, winners of weight class above 176lbs and one below would receive this money. This is why the BJJ fighter stacked the cash in front of Rogan which prompted a shocked reaction from the colour commentator.
