Conor McGregor would make the MMA world proud again with his debut movie Roadhouse. ‘The Notorious’ would be featured alongside Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal. This movie is one to watch out for, especially for MMA fans.
Coincidently, UFC commentator Joe Rogan revealed that his favorite movie to watch when ‘high’ is Roadhouse. In the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the controversial podcaster revealed to his guest Brian Simpson his thoughts about the original edition of the McGregor movie.
Moreover, this isn’t the first time Rogan has spoken about Roadhouse as he has previously tweeted about it in 2016 too.

Joe Rogan is full of praises for the ‘original’ Roadhouse
On his podcast, Rogan had a very interesting conversation with his guest, Brian Simpson. On the topic of a good watch when high, Rogan revealed his pick to be Roadhouse.
The Patrick Swayze movie is recommended by the controversial podcaster when one is intoxicated.
The conversation went on when Rogan declared, “Roadhouse is the greatest movie to watch high ever.” To Rogan’s astonishment, Simpson said, “Roadhouse? I’ve never heard of it”.
The former fear factor host tried to explain to his guest the details of the movie. He replied, “Roadhouse? With Patrick Swayze? You’ve never heard of that movie?”. Furthermore, Simpson clarified that he is not aware of the movie.Rogan then went on praising Roadhouse to his guest. He excitingly said, “It’s amazing! It’s amazing! It’s so over the top, that if you are high, you just need to be a little high and it teeters in to be absolutely preposterous. It’s amazing!”
The new edition of the movie sees Conor McGregor starring opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. The movie is set to release in 2023 and UFC fans will be excited.
Joe Rogan has tweeted about Roadhouse back in 2016
An earlier Joe Rogan tweet proves that he is a huge fan of Patrick Swayze’s movie Roadhouse. A tweet from 2016, where McGregor wasn’t even in the picture to sign for the new movie, reads, “OH, SH*T! Roadhouse is playing in the thecomedystore secret comics bar!”
Moreover, the controversial UFC commentator shared an Instagram post link with the tweet. The post had an image of the original movie on the screen.
