The Joe Rogan Experience Episode #2219 featuring former President Donald Trump truly became the most talked-about affair in the current election cycle. The hype is palpable, with over 33 million views in just a week, that too despite a major shadowban. This truly spoke volumes about how tuned in the fans were to listen to the UFC commentator take an interview with the Republican candidate.
The edition truly lived up to the hype as Trump and Rogan talked about various topics, from the ongoing election to the existence of aliens. However, in between the political and the bizarre, they also tackled serious topics such as the declining health of the citizens in the United States. The duo discussed how the government and the American healthcare system are failing despite being worth over $808 billion as of 2021. As a result, Rogan has some suggestions that would help make a change.
When ex-POTUS Trump talked about the pesticides being used on crops and their negative effects, Rogan clarified that regenerative agriculture is very difficult to scale, and places like Los Angeles are more dependent on crops being shipped than being grown, hiking up the prices. According to Rogan, the major issue is that it is difficult to get affordable good food to people, where low-income groups are forced to rely on cheap junk food. He said, “We’ve created this incredible society where we have these enormous cities, but it’s very difficult to get food to these people. And then for a lot of these people in low-income areas, the only food that’s available is cheap, unhealthy food.”

Joe Rogan then shared a solution that focuses on the government taking the real initiative. He said, “We could fix that. That’s—if we could send $175 billion to Ukraine, we could do something to fix a lot of the health problems that the United States has. And I think it would help us as a nation overall, just if you just put it out there that, hey, as a nation, we’re going to make a concerted effort to get people healthier. Just put it out there, and people start making better choices.”
