Subsequently, the veteran UFC commentator reshared a post that shows an inspirational journey of a unique BJJ practitioner.

The post’s caption reads, “He’s some awesome inspiration and an enhancement of perspective. This gentleman didn’t start training in jiu jitsu until he was 68 years old, and he just received his black belt from the highly respected @romulobarral. An incredible accomplishment!”
Also, the video in the post offers Roberto Aguilar, the unique individual who achieves the feat in a rather unfavorable condition, motivating others to do the same and never give up on their dreams.
Romulo Barral, the coach under whom Aguilar got his black belt, thanked the JRE podcast host for sharing the story with his wide audience.
He wrote to Rogan, “Thank you Joe for repost, I knew it @ra1946 would impact a lot people , but I didn’t know would be this big, his sincere words was amazing life lesson.”
The sport of jiujitsu could be very hard for the body, hence it is a remarkable achievement that would inspire many to not give up their hopes and dreams because of their age.

Firas Zahabi shocks Joe Rogan with the dark side of Jiujitsu
The former Fear Factor host believes Jiujitsu is the purest form of martial arts. However, he had a shocking realization when famous MMA coach Firas Zahabi told him a shocking detail about the wonderful sport.

“Now, in Jiujitsu, we have clubs giving away belts with membership,” offered Zahabi. “If you show up, we count how many times you come to practice, then you have a stripe every so often. It’s all scheduled; They are gonna tell you when you’re going to get your belt.”
Though Zahabi didn’t reveal the names of the club, he affirmed that’s what happens in many clubs. Zahabi’s comment had Joe Rogan in absolute shock; Usually, there is no fixed time frame for promotion in Jiujitsu. The trainer under which one is learning the art promotes their pupil with the level of learning they have achieved.
