56-year-old Joe Rogan recently launched his #154 episode of his JRE MMA show. He invited Matt Serra, Din Thomas, and John Rallo for an intense chat. The pair discussed a variety of topics. However, the central point was the upcoming UFC 300 event. The group seemed pretty excited about the upcoming event, as it features some of the best fighters in the promotion.

During the chat, Rogan analyzed all the fights and made a serious prediction about a particular fighter. Rogan surprised everyone with his pick and even termed him a future world champion. Rogan said, “But isn’t it interesting that some fighters they decide to bring along? Look what’s on the undercard. Diego Lopez, bro. That dude is a killer. He’s a killer. That’s a future world-champion fighter. He is a straight up killer. Look at all these other fights that aren’t on the main card. That is the craziest card of all time in human history. This f..ng card is bananas, man.”

Diego Lopez is all set to take on Sodiq Yusuff next at UFC 300. The Brazilian fighter is currently on the rise in the featherweight division after winning his last two fights. The UFC color commentator has seen some of the biggest names in the UFC from close quarters, and hence, his opinion on Lopez is legit. While speaking to his guests, he seemed supremely impressed with him and even termed him a future world champion.

One of the most talked about fights of the card is the BMF title fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway. Experts have already picked their favorites, and it seems ‘The Highlight’ has a slight upper hand. However, Joe Rogan, in his recent #2128 episode of his JRE podcast, warned the fans about the dangers Holloway possesses. While speaking to his guest Joey Diaz, Rogan said, “A lot of people are counting him out in his Justin Gaethje fight, you know. But he’s got a lot of time to prepare for this”.

He further pointed out that the last time ‘Blessed’ fought in the lightweight division, things didn’t go according to plan. The 56-year-old further added, The first fight when he fought 55 when he fought Dustin, that was a short-notice fight. He didn’t have time to like really bulk up. Like well, I don’t know how short notice it was but I know he didn’t bulk up. I think he just tried to fight you know, just be 145 but not cut weight. You know, which is [his] natural weight class.”
