Did the media intentionally downplay the second Trump assassination attempt, or was it just overlooked?

As the Presidential Elections inch closer the conversations about Donald Trump and Kamala Harris become more frequent than ever. Political conversations have also become quite common in podcasts, and of course, the Joe Rogan Experience is also included. Needless to say, the JRE host seldom steers away from talking about the former President of the United States.

But the famed UFC color commentator caught many by surprise when he revealed that Trump barely escaped an assassination attempt twice. The first assassination attempt attracted a shipload of attention to the former POTUS and greatly impressed the whole wide world as he continued to rally with his hand raised high, even though he was bleeding from his right ear. This act of bravery put Trump in a pretty bright light. But not everyone seemed to know about the second attempt at Trump’s life.

In episode #164 of the JRE MMA Show, Joe Rogan sat down together with Israel Adesanya for a long conversation. And one of the topics that the two talked about was Trump’s lucky escape from certain de*th. When the former 2-time middleweight champion expressed his awe as Trump continued to move forward despite the risk of getting assassinated. But the shocker came when Rogan said, “There was a 2nd assassination attempt.”

Adesanya simply couldn’t believe it. But the 57-year-old podcaster affirmed, “Yeah. There was a guy who got caught with an AK-47. He was hiding in the bushes for 12 hours, got into a shootout with the Secret Service.” However, most netizens, including Adesanya were oblivious to the news, because it went out of focus like Thanos’ Infinity Snap!

When ‘The Last Stylebender’ asked about the shootout, Rogan was left with no choice but to explain everything that happened. He narrated, “No, the Secret Service shot at him. He fled. I don’t think he shot at the Secret Service. He fled and then they caught him. So this is a guy who’s a real lunatic. He went over to Ukraine to fight for the Ukraine forces. It’s a crazy person. And this guy was somehow or another, armed to the t**s, even though it’s illegal for him to be carrying a gun. He’s a convicted felon. And he almost assassinated Trump, and it was out of the news cycle in a couple of days.”

According to many sources, the perpetrator faced 5 charges, including the assassination attempt, g*n charges, and assaulting an officer on duty. He was allegedly spotted by a Secret Service agent while surveilling the golf course prior to Trump’s entry. He opened fire when he saw the g*n’s barrel move in the bushes. But what shocked the world the most was the fact that the alleged had been arrested more than 100 times for violating rules.

Nevertheless, in a previous episode of JRE, the podcaster revealed his thoughts about the first assassination attempt on Trump. The way the former President walked out of the situation, made Rogan feel like it was just like a cinematic feature.

JRE host reveals his honest opinion about Trump’s 1st assassination escape

In episode #2176 of the JRE, Rogan was left flabbergasted by the news of the assassination attempt on the former US President. He claimed that it was proof that the world we live in is nothing but a simulation. 2 episodes later, the talks were still fresh, as Rogan said, “The whole thing is nuts… The whole thing stinks of either incompetence or a design, or we’re in The Matrix… The whole thing is bananas. He’s 20 years old, and then you find out he was in a BlackRock commercial? Is this the Black Mirror? Is this real?… I mean the Trump story is right out of a movie, and I’m hoping it’s not a Stephen King movie.”

However, thoughts of the entire attempt being staged were something that tackled Rogan despite his belief that it all happened in reality. He highlighted that there were many instances of organized assassinations that looked just like what happened with Trump. But all Rogan had to say about it was, “I don’t think it’s not real.”
