Joe Rogan regularly speaks about celebrities on his ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. In episode #1856 with guest Nate Bargatze, the podcaster spoke about the famous actor, Tom Cruise. Both the personalities discussed the things Cruise has said in interviews.

Rogan and Bargatze initially discussed celebrities being accessible on social media. The latter was of the opinion that he didn’t really want to see what actors were doing outside of movies. That’s when Rogan dished in a said, “And sometimes, they step out of that and it ruins it… Remember when Tom Cruise went on, was it Good Morning America?”
He corrected the show’s name and said, “Today’s show with Matt Lauer and he was talking about Brooke Shields and psychiatric medication. And he was saying that it’s not a chemical imbalance. Like, these dr*gs are dangerous…”
“It almost like ruined his f**king career because everybody’s like ‘listen to this loon’. What the f**k is he saying? … Just go back to doing Mission Impossible, brother.”

Bargatze felt that actors should focus on the entertainment part, and make movies that are an escape for people. Rogan agreed with his guest.
They further spoke about how Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt is needed in order to ensure the movies would be a blockbuster. However, it was not the first time Rogan discussed the Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise, in the JRE.

The Spotify commentator has talked about the actor previously too. Specifically, he had discussed the Lauer interview since it was a heated interview. Rogan examined aspects of Scientology.

In addition to this, the UFC commentator was of the opinion that Lauer didn’t handle the interview well. He could think of how the interviewer could have asked other questions to understand Cruise’s perspective better.

Further, in the conversation, his guest told him about an incident involving Cruise being happy and full of energy. Hence, Rogan said, “What a strange guy.”
They even watched a small clip from one of Cruise’s interviews.
