Joe Rogan claims to be a great music enthusiast. Undeniably, his taste in music is indeed impressive. The UFC commentator listens to a wide variety of genres, ranging from pop to rap. Hence, it did not come as a surprise when Rogan revealed his admiration for Prince. However, one of his greatest regrets is also linked to music.

In the recent episode of JRE, Joe Rogan and Kurt Metzger talked about music and eventually stumbled on Prince. The podcaster revealed that he once lost the chance to see Prince live.
Joe Rogan missed a chance
In the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ episode #1903, Rogan and Metzger stumbled upon the topic of music. The famed UFC commentator has always had a wonderful taste for music. No wonder he was a fan of the legend, Prince Nelson. Later in the podcast, Rogan revealed one of his greatest regrets.
The conversation began with Metzger narrating a story involving Prince. He recalled that once he went to a party with Artie Lange, where Prince was supposed to play. However, the artist didn’t show up until much later. Lange, surprisingly, was sitting at the front and screaming, “Play Raspberry Beret!” The duo then burst out laughing.
The 55-year-old podcaster revealed that he once had a chance to see Prince live, but he missed it. He said, “I had a chance to see Prince once. Live at the foundation room at the House of Blues in Vegas. I decided it was too late. I’m gonna go to sleep.”
Rogan wished to meet Prince

Sadly, Prince passed away at the age of 57 in 2016. Without a doubt, the news deeply saddened the podcaster. However, the fact that he could not meet the musician left him in regret. Although the commentator had met numerous personalities, he once revealed that there were two people he wished he could have met. In an episode of JRE, Rogan revealed that he wished to meet James Brown and Prince.
Rogan grew up listening to the legendary musician. He said, “He [Prince] left an undeniable impact on people.” The artist’s legend still lives on in the memories of fans. ‘Controversy’, ‘Purple Rain’, ‘Around the World in a Day’ and ‘Lovesexy’ are just a handful of works Prince left behind for the fans. He accumulated 5 US number-one singles and 15 worldwide number-one hits. The artist stands beside legends like Madonna and Michael Jackson.
