Social media can bring in a plethora of opportunities. Many people have made it big on several social media platforms. This includes famous video creator, Khaby Lame who reportedly makes a lot of money from social media posts. In a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the Spotify podcaster talked about him with guest, Will Harris.

Harris brought up Lame’s videos and Rogan said, “That guy makes 750,000 dollars a post. 750,000 dollars every time he posts.”

“So you post three-four times a day, is making a couple million here, a couple million there. That’s $60 million a month. And all, that guy goes like, ‘what?'”

Harris thought like was unfair. He was surprised by how much Khaby Lame was making from posting on social media. As per several reports, Lame used to work as a machine operator.

Joe Rogan further continued, “That guy’s killing it. I love that.”

While his guest seemed to be a little pessimist about the situation, Rogan was quick to point out he was growing as well. Similarly, he gave an example of his own podcast where he has a good amount of control over the content. Thus, they further talked about having control over the content they create.

In fact, Harris also declared he would never be able to work with the UFC because of issues with censoring.

Additionally, Rogan’s guest spoke about branching out and creating one’s once space, at length.

Rogan and Harris seemed to have similar views on getting censored. However, the UFC commentator himself has been fighting censorship.

While Spotify, as a platform, had reportedly given him complete creative control, his JRE podcast came under fire for spreading misinformation. The backlash went on for a while.

However, during that time, as many as 113 episodes were taken down from his podcast. This created a lot of buzz over the internet. Regardless, Joe Rogan, who shifted to Spotify in 2020, has been continuously releasing new episodes on the platform.

In addition to this, he juggles his UFC commentary and gigs as a comedian.
