Elon Musk is all over the news after his Twitter takeover. Famous podcaster Joe Rogan admitted he thinks it’ll be nice to have Elon Musk in charge of Twitter. At first, the billionaire asked Twitter to change its policies. Their denial only meant one thing for Musk: war. The Tesla Motors CEO finally claimed victory and became the owner of arguably the biggest social media platform.

Joe Rogan on Elon Musk being Evil
In episode #1894 of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the 55-year-old couldn’t help but discuss the new Twitter and the public meltdown that followed it. The podcast host and Actress Suzanne Santo discussed Elon Musk and Twitter.

Elon Musk did not satisfy the existing user base with the changes made.
Santo stated her opinion on the matter “What I cannot understand is… People being like ‘I’m leaving Twitter because… without censorship, this will be the death of democracy. Are you f**king serious?”
Joe Rogan laughed his heart out at Santo’s impersonation of an unsatisfied Twitter user.
But Joe Rogan agreed it’s part of the trend to hate Elon Musk on Twitter since the existing users can’t readily accept change. He said “It’s also a thing you’re supposed to say ‘I’m leaving Twitter because Elon Musk is evil.’” speaking about users who resist the new Twitter. He claimed “It’s wild!” to see the users be so divided in their approach.
The JRE host is happy for comedians
Speaking their mind will no longer ban comedians on the platform and, being a stand-up guy himself, Joe Rogan is happy about that.
“You don’t have to worry about getting f*cking banned for cracking jokes anymore…”
Also admitted “It’s just nice to have like a guy who’s… Like a tech billionaire, who has an opposing perspective and is a free-speech hardliner.” “I think that’s important…” The Fear Factor host said about Musk, who clearly didn’t change any content moderation policies.
Again, to be crystal clear, Twitter’s strong commitment to content moderation remains absolutely unchanged.
In fact, we have actually seen hateful speech at times this week decline *below* our prior norms, contrary to what you may read in the press.
