The blend of pop culture and politics has never been more prominent during the US presidential election as it has recently become. Joe Rogan, one of the most followed podcasters in the world, while not giving a full endorsement, has been full of praise for Kamala Harris lately. The result? The JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) is currently one of the most listened-to podcasts on Spotify for this week!
With names like Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift all throwing their weight behind Harris in the upcoming election, the race to rally younger voters has also intensified. As such, with the host of the JRE seemingly impressed with a lot of the moves being made by Harris and her team, could this be an indirect blow to former President Donald Trump’s campaign? Let’s take a look and explore.

In a recent update shared on X by Jed I. Goodman, it was revealed that the weekly top podcast on Spotify features the JRE in the number 1 spot in the US. Impressive, right? Even more so when you consider that it has remained there since last week’s update on September 16 by Goodman!
In episode no. 2202 of the JRE with Tom Segura, which also came out on September 16, Rogan talked about the presidential debate as he stated, “She [Kamala Harris] was way better prepared. And even when it came to answering tough questions, instead of answering she would just say things that she believes. And they sounded real good.”
But what about the former POTUS? Well, according to the host of the JRE, “…someone needs to tell him. You have got these tiny little windows. You have all the words ready for those windows. There should be no repeating things.”

Have an interesting take?
Despite not having endorsed Harris, Rogan hasn’t shied away from praising her on multiple occasions. In fact, back in July during a campaign event in Atlanta, Harris had thrown a jab at the former president as she stated, “Well, Donald, I do hope you’ll reconsider meeting me on the debate stage. Because as the saying goes if you got something to say, say it to my face.” The result? A clip that went viral and spread like wildfire online, prompting even Rogan to admit in an episode of JRE, “You can’t say that’s not outstanding … She had the big moment and she crushed it.”
As such, in this whirlwind of pop culture and politics, it’s clear Kamala Harris has captured the attention of some of the biggest voices in the media. With Joe Rogan praising her debate performance and speeches, even without a full endorsement, the impact is hard to ignore. But in true Rogan fashion, he hasn’t let the recent ‘conspiracy’ surrounding the presidential debate escape his attention either!

Rogan shares his take on ‘earrings’ controversy at presidential debate
The presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris sparked more than just policy discussions, it ignited a wildfire of conspiracy theories! The cause? A bizarre claim suggesting that Kamala Harris was being secretly coached through hi-tech ‘earrings’ during the debate. It started with a social media post that went viral, accusing Harris of wearing earrings equipped with earpiece technology to gain an unfair advantage during the debate.
Enter Joe Rogan. During his conversation with Tom Segura, Rogan stated, “Do you know about this earring controversy? So, there are people that believe what she was wearing last night was the type of earring they use for; um, it’s like an earpiece. Where you can talk through it. So someone can talk to her. So someone can coach her.”

But did Harris really wear ‘spy’-like gadgets during the debate, or is this just another wild conspiracy cooked up by the internet? According to the podcast host, “But, uh, if she really did do that, first of all, she didn’t do that. Bring those earrings; allow them to be investigated, please. Sure, just the ones that you wore”, adding that he thought the whole thing was “cool” because it reminded him of spy movies.
While Rogan’s take on the rumor was part tongue-in-cheek, it reflects how quickly debates can shift from policy to spectacle in today’s media landscape. But with Rogan’s massive platform and influence, could his praise be an unexpected blow to Donald Trump’s campaign? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
