Joe Rogan Reacts to a Life-Threatening Incident as ‘Very Fortunate’ Man Battled Wild Bear

Joe Rogan and his fascination with animals are known to almost all his podcast listeners. Over the years, fans have noticed the UFC commentator speak about animals and their behavior with sheer fun and interest. Whether it’s a dog, coyote, alligator, elk, you name it and he has talked about the creature.

However, there’s one such animal that Rogan has a deep connection with. Not because of any personal incident, but with the number of times he’s mentioned it. Moreover, the determination and passion with which he talks about that creature. It’s none other than a bear. 

Rogan has shown keen interest in studying the nature of a bear and over the years seemingly has mastered it. Whether it’s the wilderness of a grizzly bear or the predatory nature of a polar bear, the podcaster is always up for a conversation related to them.

Recently, the 55-year-old shared an Instagram video, where a man fought a bear he encountered in the mountains. The creature seemed to be a brown bear, who, furthermore, was aggressive. In the video, fans could hear the man screaming, which is a popular method to scare a bear. Meanwhile, he also physically attacked the animal to get rid of it.

The bear tried its best to attack the hiker. Nevertheless, the person was successful in getting rid of the animal. Rogan, who re-posted the video, had a message for all his followers in the caption.

In the caption of the post, Rogan wrote, “This video is going around the internet, and it’s a great wake-up call for people who have a distorted idea of what a wild predator is like. Bears are cool, fascinating animals, but they live a brutal and ruthless life. This guy is very fortunate that he got out of this relatively unscathed.”

The comedian has always been vocal about the animal as one of the most dangerous and unpredictable. Meanwhile, he also suggested people always protect themselves while traveling in the woods or mountains. Specifically, because one might encounter these bears.
