The recent alleged drone sightings in New Jersey have all extra-terrestrial enthusiasts buzzing with excitement. True to form, Joe Rogan has also been drawn to the discussion like a moth to a flame. In an interview with Joey Diaz from five years ago, the Cuban-American comedian spoke of an incident in New Jersey where residents witnessed what might have been a UFO, and an extra-terrestrial life form – all of which was swept under the rug by the US government at the time. With the latest sightings of alleged drone (or UFC) activities on the US East Coast and Mid-West, Rogan spoke about how his good friend Elon Musk was being coy about revealing if he had knowledge about ET life in JRE #2244 with Ryan Graves.

While Rogan and Musk are good friends, the comedian confessed that Musk doesn’t tell him everything, especially about the aspects and nuances of his various businesses. So, it’s no surprise then, that the Space-X CEO would keep crucial information about UFOs and ET life, away from Rogan, who has a penchant for broadcasting his thoughts to the entire world.

“Elon is oddly sly about this stuff. He outwardly dismisses UFOs and says ‘If they’re there, they’re very subtle.’ I feel like with his contracts with NASA and being involved with SpaceX, he can’t talk crazy. He talks crazy so much about other stuff but when it’s in this, you know, f*****g multi-billion dollar company that he runs, I don’t think he can f**k around. You know, if it is something that he had no interest in at all, in terms of financial interest and business interest, I’m sure he would be commenting on it. But he is not commenting on it at all which makes me go, ‘Hmm’. I don’t think he’s gonna tell me. I’m going to call him up because I have a big mouth I think he knows.”, Rogan said to Graves.

While the Tesla CEO expressed his doubts about aliens visiting the Earth, he still acknowledged the possibility of alien life elsewhere in the universe. “I’ve not seen any evidence of aliens. And SpaceX, with the Starlink constellation, has roughly 6,000 satellites, and not once have we had to maneuver around a UFO. Never. So I’m like, okay, I don’t see any evidence of aliens,” Musk had said according to Space.com. On the other hand, when it comes to the President-elect, Donald Trump might be more inclined to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial lifeforms.

Joe Rogan had an iconic podcast with Donald Trump as his guest before the latter was elected president for the second time. The duo discussed several topics about UFC and US politics. Another interesting topic was about extraterrestrials and UFOs. On the topic being raised by Rogan, Trump mentioned one infamous incident of the ‘tic-tac UFO sighting’ by US fighter pilots in 2004.

“I interviewed jet pilots that were solid people, perfect. I mean, great pilots, great everything. And they said, ‘We saw things, sir, that were very strange’, like a round ball. But it wasn’t a comet or a meteor it was something, and it was going four times faster than an F-22 which is a very fast plane, you know. And it was round.”, said Trump without disclosing much to the podcaster. 

Although Trump didn’t go into details about what he learned about UFOs and alien life during his first term as president, he did mention that he would disclose information about what the US government has allegedly kept a secret for so long.  “The government knows what is happening,” Trump claimed, although the scope of the government’s knowledge is unknown. “Look, our military knows where they took off from. If it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went. And for some reason, they don’t want to comment. And I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.”
