While expressing his thoughts on the matter, the UFC color commentator said he still thinks the CEO of SpaceX will purchase Twitter. But that the trial is only a way to identify the number of Twitter bots.
“He (Elon Musk) might still buy it (Twitter). This whole thing that’s going on right now. This is like in my opinion, this is a way for us to find out exactly how many bots are on Twitter, this is the best way,” Rogan said.

“Because if you just bought it, then he would have to find out. You would have to do some sort of internal examination. But they claim Twitter only has 5% bots. He thinks it’s far more than 5% and he thinks that the way they determined 5% is not adequate,” Rogan added.
Earlier, the CEO of Tesla proposed to offer a staggering $44 billion to acquire the social media company Twitter. However, Musk’s worries about the frequency of fake accounts on Twitter prevented the acquisition from going through. Following that, Twitter sued the SpaceX founder.

Additionally, Rogan said that these kinds of unfavorable reports damage Musk’s reputation and consequently lower Tesla’s stock price, as people sell it. According to the UFC color commentator, Musk’s competitors earn profits by manipulating the market.
The South African-born billionaire has been on Rogan’s podcast several times. As a result, they share a good relationship with each other. Therefore, the UFC commentator is always complimentary of Musk and even backs him at times.
