Colby Covington is infamous for his trash-talking in the MMA community. The former interim champion revived his career by trash-talking and has kept going ever since.

This has made him lose many fans and friends in the UFC. Colby was also friends with Jon Jones and they went to the same college. However, the two are not on good terms anymore and have both insulted each other in the media.

Joe Rogan spoke about Colby Covington’s brash talking in an episode of his podcast show, The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan said that Covington was going to slap him because he told Covington that Jon Jones might slap him (Covington).

He added, “I like Colby, I like what he’s doing. Just talking a lot of sh*t. I’m just saying be careful who you talk sh*t to. Talking sh*t to Jon Jones? That’s one of the baddest motherf**kers that ever lived.”

Many consider Jon Jones to be one of the greatest UFC fighters in the promotion’s history. He holds many records in the UFC and has never been defeated in his entire career. The only loos Jones faced was due to disqualification.

Jon Jones will make his return to the UFC this year and will try to continue his legacy forward in the heavyweight division.
