Joe Rogan is a man of many talents. He is a comic, runs a very successful podcast that goes by the name, The Joe Rogan Experience, is a beloved UFC commentator and the list goes on. In addition to the multiple hats he wears on the work front, his forte runs deep for combat sports. Will Harris, the creator of the documentary series, Anatomy Of A Fighter, joined him. And both sports fanatics indulged themselves in all kinds of conversation. And the subject that grabbed the audience’s attention was connected to Jon Jones. Not the fighter himself, but in fact his beloved dog, that recently passed away.

The conversation began with discussing the comeback of ‘Jonny Bones’ and smoothly transitioned its way toward Jones’ dog. Both Joe Rogan and Will Harris talked about the excitement around Jon Jones‘ return, which spontaneously led to the topic of how deadly Jones’ dog was.
Joe Rogan warned about Jon Jones’ dog
Joe Rogan pulled up a video from Jon Jones’s Instagram of his training session. And during the same, Will Harris pointed out how ‘Jonny Bones’ always reneges him when it comes to filming Jones. As they were discussing how crazy it was to be around Jon Jones, they talked about what would happen if someone breaks into Jon Jones’ house. Rogan and Haris, both had the same response, saying, “He will kill you”. Adding to that, Joe Rogan pointed out another threat. Jon Jones’ dog. Rogan referred to Jones’ dog’s kind as “raptors.”
Talking about Jones’s dog, Joe Rogan said, “Also, he’s got that f*****g dog. He’s got that Belgian Malinois, that is like, very trained. Like as trained as they get. Like that dog, those are little raptors. Those are the dogs they use overseas. Those dogs man, you cannot have that dog and be like a regular person and just leave it in the yard. That dog is gonna jump the fence…”

The return of Jonny Bones
Jon Jones last fought in the UFC ring against Dominick Reyes in 2020 and won the bout with a unanimous decision. Nearly 3 years have passed since ‘Bones’ last competed, and UFC fans are eagerly awaiting his return. During the podcast, Joe Rogan and Will Harris talked about Jones’ current form and how he looks ‘solid as a rock’ and ‘giant’.

Jon Jones’ earlier announced the news on Twitter saying that he is preparing to fight Stipe Miocic a fight on 10th December this year, although he is not sure of the details.
However, in the post-fight press conference for UFC 281, Dana White confirmed his return but not against Stipe Miocic instead, Jonny Bones may face Francis Ngannou in a heavyweight bout.
