But, a recent law passed in San Francisco just made the former Fear Factor host’s worst nightmare come true. This law, related to robots, can have major implications for the safety of human lives. Therefore, the UFC commentator voiced his concern about the news on Instagram.

Joe Rogan has a problem with Killer Police Robots
The polymath has taken to Instagram to share his concerns about the latest development in the San Francisco police department. A rule proposal granted Robots permission to take away human lives in San Francisco.

Rogan wrote, “This is such a f*cking tremendously insane decision with terrifying implications. The fact that ANYONE thinks it’s ok to vote for robots gunning people down is fucking nuts, but that a majority is just bonkers.”

The JRE host commented on the fact that the vote gained a substantial majority in favor of the murderous robots. The fact that robots are being granted permission to end a human life does not sit well with The MMA analyst. Joe Rogan has always talked about the adverse effects of sophisticated artificial intelligence in his podcast episodes. Therefore, his adamancy to accept this new rule is quite understandable.

Similar to a science fiction film, the masses avoid the advice of a genius and pursue their quest for an intelligent A.I. However, that is when everything goes wrong. The podcast host is not a stranger to advanced forms of artificial intelligence. As he previously hosted an artificial intelligence capable of impersonating the late Steve Jobs. Therefore, he alerted his followers about the repercussions of allowing robots to harm people.
