The music industry is currently witnessing a drama that has encapsulated the entire world, including Joe Rogan. You got it! It’s the beef between two of the best rappers, Kendrick Lamar and Drake. But when his family began to discuss the ongoing beef, Rogan had to weigh in.

The UFC color commentator took to his podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, and revealed his thoughts on the ongoing beef between the musicians. Although his family seemed to have reached a conclusion following a spat, Rogan simply wanted the rappers to end the feud.

In the latest episode of the JRE, the UFC commentator invited Mike Baker, a former CIA covert ops officer and the CEO of Portman Square Group. Within minutes into the conversation, the discussion shifted toward the musicians’ beef. Rogan disclosed that every single soul in the world was invested in the rap battle between Lamar and Drake. Even his own family wasn’t left out.

Rogan said, “It was hilarious but everybody is invested in this beef. My oldest daughter and my wife were in the car this morning, and they were having a conversation. These two grown a** women having a conversation about who is the superior rapper. And they felt that Kendrick is a better lyricist although Drake has more hits. Started from the bottom, now we’re here…”

Rogan’s family seemed to have settled the argument by stating who was the better lyricist and who had a higher number of hit songs. However, the 56-year-old podcast host just wanted things to end. He did admit that Drake had some “bangers,” but he also didn’t suppress his love for Lamar. He simply wished for the two to “hug it out.”

Rogan’s suggestion to end the fight

Rogan had a discussion about the battle between the rappers in a previous episode of JRE with Deric Poston. But he couldn’t help but get baffled by it. He wondered if the battle was till the death or if someone had to tap out for it all to come to an end. Although the podcaster wanted things to settle down between the rappers, he wanted them to do so without using an ounce of violence. How? Rogan had an idea.

The UFC commentator suggested that the two hug it out and release an album about their squabble. “That would be the way to wrap it up, that’s what you do, break bread, hug it out, go ‘well you got me with that one’; ‘you got me with that one, let’s put it out as an album,’” he suggested.

But what do you think of the battle? Do you stand in support of Lamar, or Drake? Or like Rogan, do you love them both the same?
