Joe Rogan, for more than a decade, has been hosting his infamous podcast. The show has garnered massive recognition for the diversity in its content. Moreover, receiving praise for the kind of guests the podcaster invites to his show. Most of the time the guest receives an invitation from Rogan, and seldom do we hear the podcaster reject anyone to come over to his show. However, recently the 55-year-old revealed that there was one person he did not want on his show.

Rogan was referring to popular singer-songwriter, Aaron Carter. Rogan revealed that he denied Carter’s request to appear on the podcast before his death.
Joe Rogan does not like speaking with ‘child stars’
Rogan recently came out and stated that he declined the singer’s proposal of getting on a podcast together. Moreover, the reason that Rogan gave was that he believes that “Child Stars don’t develop.” He said, “I didn’t think I would have a good conversation with him. It’s just I’ve had conversations with multiple child stars. It’s a sad reality that they don’t develop. There is no redoing that.”

Meanwhile, citing the examples of other child stars who gained prominence yet balanced their lives, Rogan mentioned Jodie Foster and Emma Watson. The podcaster talked about the Oscar winner and the Harry Potter star and how they took a break from Hollywood and attended college.

He further said that they “seem to be balanced”, because they didn’t give up on their education.
What happened to Aaron Carter?
On November 5, 2022, the rapper passed away at age 34. They found his body unresponsive in his bathtub at his home in Lancaster, California.

The reason for his death is unclear yet despite an autopsy being performed. However, the toxicology report remains pending till now. He had an 11-month-old son with his ex-fiancé, Melanie Martin.

Carter was the younger brother of Nick Carter who was a part of the famous band, the Backstreet Boys. The rapper gained recognition after his second album, ‘Aaron’s Party’ in 2000 became a huge success. The album achieved three times platinum status certified by the Recording Industry Association of America. The 34-year-old had a history of addiction to prescribed medication.
