Is Kamala Harris avoiding Joe Rogan's podcast because she fears an unscripted conversation?

Joe Rogan recently featured Donald Trump on his podcast, which was indeed a treat to the fanbase. But did you know that the JRE host also wanted to talk with Trump’s opposition, Kamala Harris, on his podcast? In episode #2220 of the Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator sat down together with the Russian-British satirist and author, Konstantin Kisin, and the comedian, Francis Foster. And Rogan certainly indulged his guests about bringing the Democratic Party representative to the talk show, especially given that the previous episode was a 3-hour-long conversation with the former US President! But seemingly, it all depended on Harris.

Rogan said, “You could look at this and say ‘Oh, you’re being a diva!’ But she had an opportunity to come here when she was in Texas, and I literally gave them an open invitation.” He was ready to host her at any time of the day. He went on, “I said, ‘Any time.’ I said, ‘If she’s done at 10 o’clock, we’ll come back here at 10 o’clock. I’ll do it 9 in the morning, I’ll do it at 10 pm, I’ll do it at midnight!’ She’s up. She wants to, you know, drink a Red Bull, f–king party on.”

That was when Kisin swooped in and pointed out that the idea of the JRE host being a diva was nothing but silly. After all, he was the one offering to bring the Presidential Elections candidate on the show, just like he did with her opposition. But Rogan cleared the air around it.

The UFC commentator said, “She actually reached out when she found out that he was coming on. So, their camp reached out to me. So, I said, ‘Great. I’d love to talk to her.’ But it was very difficult to tie it down.” And the problem came with the Democratic Party’s intention to travel and propagate their messages. On top of that, the common folk tended to wave the team off.

Rogan continued, “That’s a distraction. People in the room, like, my whole goal with her and with him was just talk. Just have a conversation like a human being. You find out things about people. You get a sense of them, at least, a real sense. That was it! I don’t give a f–k what we talk about. I really don’t. I just wanna talk to you. Who the f–k are you?”

Needless to say, Rogan talked about his episodes with Harris on multiple occasions. After all, he wasn’t so happy with how things turned out between them. Rogan would still invite the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate. But there was a catch!

While the JRE host provided more insights into the issues he faced while trying to bring Harris, he began talking about the Democratic Party’s candidate a long while ago. And in the last episode of JRE Fight Companion, he began talking about why a podcast with Harris didn’t really happen. Sitting together with Brendan Schaub, Bryan Callen, and Eddie Bravo, he revealed what he expected from Harris was just to have a conversation.

The 57-year-old said,  “She kept saying no. I said I would have a conversation with her like a human being. That’s all I wanna do is literally all I wanna do. I just wanna know what it is like to be; I don’t even give a f–k about all the stuff she talked about about the policies and different things, we all know her positions. Like who are you? Who are you?”

However, he had a condition. Rogan didn’t really want to talk about politics. Anything other than that was fine. He went on, “I would be willing to talk about anything other than politics. Like if there are certain things, they don’t wanna talk about. I’m fine, I don’t care.” But alas! Things aren’t always as easy as they seem.

But does this mean Rogan supports Harris over Trump? Well, he often expressed that he wasn’t an avid supporter of the Republican Party representative. However, with the developments in the story, including Harris’ refusal to come and talk to the UFC commentator, might make him change his perspective, don’t you think?
