Ivan Hatala executes a spinning back kick, just like Joe Rogan

Ivan Hatala recently performed Joe Rogan’s influential spin kick in a Lethwei bout in Marshall Fighting Championship. Hatala, who hails from Slovakia, went up against Krystian Niewinczany on October 29th. During the bloody bout, the Slovakian fighter raised his hands up and faced his back to the opponent for a split second.

The polish fighter got confused and tried blocking his head. But Hatala unleashed a deadly spinning kick that broke through his guard, hitting his stomach. Immediately after coming into contact with the deadly kick at full force, Niewinczany flew away from the ground and landed on the other end of the cage.

Marshall Fighting Championship featured this kick on Twitter and even tagged the Veteran UFC Commentator. “Ivan HATALA showing off some #LETHWEI #MMA moves @joerogan style 👀 🔥”

The famous podcaster once taught his legendary spinning kick to UFC great, Georges St-Pierre. In the video, he explained how it was important to drive the kick straight and not aim for the head to have maximum impact.

GSP was patiently learning master Rogan’s technique, while the podcaster showed his true power. It’s rare to see Joe Rogan actually fighting these days. But, this clip gives fans the opportunity to do so.

Hatala followed the technique almost perfectly and yielded a great result. He probably practiced the move for several weeks, looking at videos of the 55-year-old.
