Rogan shared his thoughts about a nuclear war
Rogan and Santo were talking about the modern-day practice of people venting their troubles on social media. Santo mentioned how she lost her empathy toward people who did that. She believed it to be a counterproductive practice that did not provide any solution to their problems.

Rogan said that the problem was social media. The 55-year-old observed that people used to talk about these things to their friends, but now they share it on social media and tag random people. Santo added that this practice only discouraged people from finding a way through their troubles.
“Like, the worst thing that could happen is that something would shake us out of it. The worst thing that could happen is like, a world event would shake us out of it… Like a nuclear war. No bullsh*t. Like that’s so possible right now. It’s so possible. It’s more possible than it has ever been in our lifetimes since the cold war,” the JRE host said.
Santo added that there were so many ways in which it could happen. The BJJ black belt agreed and said that all of those ways were super sketchy. He also noted how it filled people with anxiety that they were powerless to do anything about these world events.
Santo was of the opinion that the best thing to be done was for them to keep making comedy, music, etc. She also applauded Rogan and his platform, calling it a “one-stop shop” where he hung out with his friends and also created entertaining content.

Gabbard responded saying, “Most people aren’t, and part of it is because, again, the media hardly covers it. And if they do, they’re talking about… the waging of a nuclear war as though it can be won or as though there’s some kind of limitation to the destruction and devastation that it will cause.”
