In such a short period, Donald Trump and Joe Rogan have developed a very real and apparent bromance. After all, the UFC commentator threw the full support of his massively influential podcast and fanbase behind the President-elect by endorsing him on the eve of the 2024 elections.

Not to mention the record-breaking interview that Rogan did with Trump on his podcast, which also helped the incoming President shore up his approval among young men, who have been his strongest supporters. The business mogul, of course, is very thankful to Rogan for his support.

The amity between the two men was apparent this past weekend as Trump attended the UFC 309 event at the Madison Square Garden. Trump, as usual, strolled into the arena and was welcomed by thunderous applause and cheers from the adoring UFC crowd. Until he saw Joe Rogan, which caused him to stop and embrace the UFC commentator.

Cabinet post incoming for Joe?

Given the veritable (and purely platonic, needless to say) chemistry between the two men, Joe Rogan fans went wild suggesting hypothetical (and non-existent) cabinet positions appropriate for him in the Trump 2.0 cabinet.

Joe Rogan’s subreddit was awash with amused fans, who had a good time making hilarious suggestions about the possible cabinet positions that Rogan could be given by Trump. Given Rogan’s proclivity for wide-eyed wonder when told about interesting facts from his guests, one fan felt the commentator would get the “Department of Thats Crazy, Man” in Trump’s cabinet.

What’s your perspective on:

Could Joe Rogan's bromance with Trump lead to a 'Department of That's Crazy, Man' in the cabinet?

Have an interesting take?

There are few things that amuse Rogan more than watching different animals fight, or wondering which of them would win in an inter-species battle. It was, therefore, appropriate that another fan wondered “Why can’t we have a secretary-level position in a department about which animals would win fights?” After all, that department would be right up the JRE podcast host’s ally.

Rogan’s producer, Young Jaime, of course, is responsible for making the ship run right and has been an integral part of Rogan’s podcast being so successful. This is why one fan felt not Rogan, but the producer deserved a position in the Trump 2.0 cabinet. “I bet Jamie would handle s–t- working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything comes out right.” To be fair, it’s pretty hard to argue against that logic.

Since Rogan famously has a fondness for a certain herb, one fan raised a very real concern that could keep Rogan out of a possible Trump cabinet: “Not sure he can pass the d–g test for federal employment.”

Of course, there is virtually no chance that Rogan wants to become part of Trump’s cabinet since that would require him to give up his podcasting, UFC commentary, and stand-up comedy jobs, all of which he loves. But the fans did have very amusing suggestions nonetheless. Which hypothetical cabinet position would you suggest Rogan take? Tell us in the comment section below!
