UFC color commentator and JRE podcast host, Joe Rogan is not shy about sharing his opinions on his platforms. During Episode #1857 with Seth Dillon, Rogan goes to touch upon many controversial topics. One topic, however, that most people would agree on, is his take on the current situation of teachers.

The podcast host talks about the fact that the job of teaching a child is hard, and that their work almost always goes underappreciated.

“Teachers are one of the most important parts of a child’s development is the education they’re exposed to when they are a child.” says Rogan, as he talks about Jobs that are underappreciated and often looked past.

“But we don’t think about that as being that valuable. We don’t pay them very much, we treat them like sh*t”.

The JRE host talks about how the job of teaching is not given the importance that it deserves, both in society and financially.

“It’s not a great job in terms of the financial or it’s not very celebrated.”

Rogan also talks about how they are only thought of when things are wrong and offered very little praise. He believes that society simply associates teachers with the negative aspects of their jobs.

“We’re only mad at them when they do something wrong like the teachers are responsible.”

The guest on the episode, Seth Dillon, agrees with Rogan’s points and compares them to the treatment of current law enforcement.

Even though Rogan mentions, “I’ve had a lot of bad teachers.” He seems to have a huge amount of respect for the profession. He also shows a great amount of sympathy towards them for their treatment. The podcast host also talks about how he believes the same to be true for police officers.
