UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan is known for having a soft spot for animals. And among those animals, just like most dads, he shares an immense love for dogs. Particularly his golden retriever fellow, Marshall. In episode #2099 of the JRE with Aaron Rodgers, a hilarious accident occurred where Rogan’s dog, Marshall, farted near the 4 time NFL MVP, Aaron Rodgers, which further led to Aaron Rodgers and Joe Rogan talking about the diet of Marshall.

What does Joe Rogan feed his dog?

Rogan, at the end of episode #2099 of the Joe Rogan Experience, talked about the importance of what you feed your digs. He stated, Feed your dog real food. So many people are feeding their dog kibble. That stuff. The reason why I could sit on the shelf for so long. It’s because it’s not real food. It’s garbage.”

He went on to talk about what he feeds Marshall, saying, I feed him something called “Maev”. M A E V it’s frozen raw food. So it’s frozen meat, and it has it has vegetables in it and like blueberries and stuff like that. And man, he gobbles it up, and it’s changed his body. He lost a ton of weight. He’s getting kind of thick, unfortunately, and not exercising a lot and he but you know, give him what he wants to eat, and he eats a lot of it, and then you like, Is this stuff good for it’s expensive?”, said the 56-year-old.

Joe Rogan further revealed that the change in diet helped Marshall become more energetic and even reduced the grey hair on its snout. And Rogan knows too well what an improper diet does to people.

Joe Rogan’s guilty pleasure!

Rogan, just like most people, has his guilty pleasures with food. Some eat a tub of ice cream for a heartbreak, while others finish a whole pizza by themselves for dinner. Whereas, Joe Rogan used to enjoy a casual few cans of sardines every night after coming back from a comedy club. This somewhat unhealthy diet of his led him to arsenic poisoning. “You can get arsenic from sardines, too. I found that out the hard way. Got my bloodwork done, and the doctor says, ‘You have arsenic in your blood.’ I go, ‘Is someone poisoning me?’… He said, ‘It’s very low levels.’”
