The last time Tucker Carlson came on the JRE Podcast, he made some claims about evolution, which created a lot of buzz among the people. While he believes that adaptation is a real phenomenon, he feels that evolution isn’t. He said, “But there’s no evidence that — in fact, I think we’ve kind of given up on evolution, the theory of evolution as articulated by Darwin. It’s, like, kind of not true… but no, there’s no evidence at all, none, zero, that people evolved seamlessly from a single-cell ameba, no, there’s not”. After listening to such claims, Weinstein took time to speak to him and shared his experience with the JRE host.
During the podcast, Rogan brought up the topic and asked him, “So when tucker was on he was saying that there was no evidence for evolution. And you had a real problem with that.” Weinstein was quick to respond that he had no problem with the thought process but rather respected his thinking. He said, ” Well I didn’t have a real problem with that. Let’s put it this way I don’t think I think it’s nonsense but I understand how he ends up there”.
The evolutionary biologist then clarified how he reached out to Carlson and pointed out that he was thinking in the wrong direction. However, he was surprised when the podcaster agreed to sit down and chat with him to get a different perspective on the matter. He said, ” I really appreciate Tucker, and his openness to hearing the counterargument says a lot about him.”
Rogan quickly joined him in appreciating Carlson and said, ” Well he’s absolutely willing to change his mind about everything.” The JRE host is never shy from sharing his opinion on important matters. While he was shocked to hear the theory given out by Carlson about evolution, Rogan himself derived a theory about it from Netflix’s ‘Chimp Empire’.

Joe Rogan points out how scientists are helping chimpanzees in their evolution
There are very few podcasters in the world who can speak their mind on multiple topics like the way Joe Rogan does. The 56-year-old is never afraid of sharing his insights on multiple matters. One such topic was related to evolution when he invited Tucker Carlson on his famous podcast. The documentary ‘Chimp Empire’ is available on Netflix, and it seems Rogan has taken a particular liking towards this particular subject. He never seems to get bored from talking about it, and while speaking to Carlson, he pointed out how they behave normally around the scientists.
The JRE host said, “Chimps have become accustomed to them [the scientists] being there, and the chimps behave completely normally. The chimps see them as just an innocuous part of their environment.” He then pointed out how scientists never provoked primates, which allowed them to evolve with humans staying alongside them.

Rogan further mentioned how the scientists never try to make any sort of eye contact, which makes them believe that they are not doing them any harm. Rogan further added, “They are not food, they’re not enemy, they don’t ever intrude, they don’t try to challenge them, they don’t make eye contact, so they don’t worry about the people at all. As a result, they behave normally alongside them, which allows the scientists to study them without much trouble.”
This is not the first time that Joe Rogan has shared his opinion on any of the theories. But this time, he came up with a unique conclusion that might surprise many. What do you think about his theory? Let us know about it in the comments below.
