Former UFC double champ Conor McGregor has been garnering praise for his role in the reboot of the cult classic ‘Road House.’ McGregor played the antagonist in the movie and it looked like the Irishman was a natural fit for his debut role. Regardless, playing the eccentric ‘Knox’ came with its own set of challenges to ‘The Notorious.’

Conor McGregor, during an interview for promoting the Doug Liman directorial, claimed that he found acting harder than fighting. The Irishman claimed that his new gig was far more difficult than he had imagined. This statement got a reaction from the UFC commentator and JRE podcast host, Joe Rogan.

Rogan and his friends addressed Conor McGregor’s statement on his comparison of fighting and acting. However, the 56-year-old might’ve seemed a little brash while critiquing what McGregor had said.

During the podcast episode, Rogan stated, “Listen to me, that’s not true. That’s not true at all. Okay, acting in ‘Road House’ or fight Khabib again? Shut the f**k up. That’s crazy talk. He broke his f***ing leg in a fight. He broke his leg. Like that’s harder.” Now, Rogan’s comments are getting some negative feedback from fight fans who found it disrespectful.

Joe Rogan receives flak for over the top Conor McGregor criticism

Under an Instagram post highlighting Rogan’s response, the fans called out the BJJ black belt for not getting the true sense of what McGregor meant.

Some fans commented on the post showing their anticipation of McGregor’s response; “Conor about to go on a Twitter rant again”, “Conor gonna get mad at Joe again”

Another explained what McGregor meant while calling out the podcast host; “Think he meant fighting comes more naturally to him, Joe being very disrespectful considering how much less he’s done in both fields”

Meanwhile, a fan reminded people how the Irishman was always eager for a rematch against Nurmagomedov; “Joe knows Conor would fight Khabib again”
