A man stabbed the famous novelist, Salman Rushdie, in a shocking incident. The writer was giving a lecture in New York state when the episode took place. Authorities airlifted him and rushed him to a hospital for treatment. Amongst the uproar of this incident, Joe Rogan shared the writer’s famous quote on Instagram.

Rogan is known for talking about the newest headlines. From the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard public trial to Will Smith and Chris Rock’s Oscar incident, Rogan has discussed it all on his JRE podcast. Hence, many would also want to know what the Spotify podcaster thinks about the attack on the novelist.
As reported by ‘Reuters‘, after emergency surgery, the writer was on a ventilator. He was also unable to speak. Several people around the world condemned the attack.

As per Rushdie’s book agent, the novelist might lose an eye. In addition to this, the attack also damages nerves in his arm and his liver also sustained injuries.
The 75-year-old was about to give a talk on artistic freedom in New York’s Chautauqua Institution. That’s when a man charged onto the stage and attacked him. Authorities quickly arrested the man.
Further, a doctor who was present in the audience helped the famous novelist until help arrived.
