The ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ has always been at the top of Spotify charts for his rankings and there’s hardly any other podcast host across the globe with the same following and viewership as the $250 million podcaster.
The latest Spotify feature, which showcases the number of followers a podcast has, has been in testing mode. The number of followers for ‘JRE’ is astronomical compared to its competitors. In his latest escapade, the podcaster took to social media to express his opinion on his standing at the Spotify rankings.

Spotify, the music streaming app recently te͏sted a feature where users could see the number of followers artists have. Joe Rogan seems to have gone even further in the competition,͏ as no one can topple him from the ranking ͏table, at least for ͏now.
To put it into numerical perspective, Joe Rogan has a massive 14.5 million followers on Spotify, and it’s not even his highest following. His YouTube channel stands at an astronomical 16.4 million followers. As of now, Rogan stands at the top of Spotify charts. To give you another important perspective, Rogan’s followers on Spotify are so large that it is 3x the number of followers that the next most followed podcast, TED Talks Daily stands at 5 million.
The revelation didn’t go unnoticed by the podcaster. Rogan reshared Cameron Hanes’s story where he applauded the podcaster’s standing in the Spotify charts. Hanes captioned it as “@Joerogan is the goat. 3x the second most popular podcast” Rogan might not have captioned anything on his story but his happiness can be felt from the story itself.

Well, Rogan is not going anywhere with his huge following but maybe the people who hated the $200 million podcaster are coming back to the music streaming app after ignoring it for years.
Joni Mitchell is back at Spotify
The infamous Niel Young vs. Joe Rogan controversy was the talk of the town back in the COVID-19 days. Young criticized Spotify for making a multi-million dollar deal with someone like Rogan who spreads misinformation, at least that’s what Young thought at that time. The musician along with some other artists took the initiative to boycott the music streaming app until Rogan was laid off. However, it seemed to have backfired on them as Rogan’s strong standing left them hanging.

Gulping down his words along with his pride, Neil Young made a comeback to the music streaming app after 2 years of hiatus. The legendary musician in his statement added that since Rogan will now be available in other streaming apps such as Amazon and Apple, there’s no meaning for him to boycott Spotify. Well, guess what, Young is not the only musician who is back in the town.
Joni Mitchell also took the initiative to boycott the music-streaming app, however, after Young’s comeback it seems Mitchell has changed her mind. The legendary musician will be making a comeback to Spotisy soon as reported by The New York Times. Nonetheless, Joe Rogan is that mountain that is tough to move.
