Do you know the biggest reason which has affected the IQ levels of the American people? Well, much to the surprise of everyone, it’s a gas stove. Joe Rogan shared this piece of information in the latest #2155 episode of his JRE podcast while speaking to his guest, Brian Redban.

Joe Rogan has always brought up topics on his podcast related to environmental issues. The JRE host has always been concerned about Mother Nature and makes sure to keep the people aware of the latest changes. This was exactly the case in his latest episode. While speaking to his guest, Redban, Rogan brought up an important topic for the fans. The topic started after Redban pointed out how gas stoves are dangerous for most of us. Quickly responding to the claims, Rogan said, “I love that smell. I love that smell in markers. Terrible for you lowers your IQ. “

The guest then mentioned how the latest reports regarding gas stoves and their effect on the people are alarming. Agreeing to the claims, Rogan then shared some details which might be a cause for concern. The JRE host said,” Yeah, when I was a kid I remember like you walk by the stove and you could smell it. And they are like oh the pilot must be out like. What is just f..ng gas floating around this apartment, right? That probably lowered our IQs. You know another thing that lowered our IQ’S lead from gasoline. When they had leaded gasoline.”

The discussion then shifted towards lead gasoline. Rogan is known to back most of his claims with data and reports, and this episode was no different. While talking about the impact these gases have on the people of America, the 56-year-old shared some numbers that might be alarming.

Joe Rogan’s latest podcast gives people something to be worried about

One of the biggest attractions of the JRE podcast is Rogan and his ability to point out facts. In his latest #2155 episode of his JRE podcast, he gave away some more details about the impact of lead gasoline. While speaking to his guest, he said, ” My friend lived in Brooklyn. My friend Steve Renell. He lived in Brooklyn for a while. And he was going to grow plants in his backyard but he has soil. Cuz he’s very smart. So he had his soil tested and found it like filled with lead from leaded gasoline from the f..ng 60s and 50s. It’s just in the dirt.” 

However, he then shifted his discussion to the impact such emissions have on the IQ of the people. In most of his discussions, the UFC color commentator backs his claims with facts. This time around he shared a report from the National Academy of Sciences and seemed astonished after reading it.

He said,” Childhood exposure to led gasoline has caused a loss of 824 million IQ points for more than 170 million Americans or about half of the US population. This is based on an average of 2.6 IQ points lost per person.” The JRE host then pointed out how the people in the late 1960s also got affected by it and pointed out the effects it has had on children.
