Is Elon Musk's $843 million NASA contract a cover-up for hiding government secrets? Joe Rogan seems to think so!

Lovers of conspiracy theories have a wide repertoire. They claim that no American astronaut has ever set foot on the surface of the moon. That it was all a hoax- a montage made in a television studio, to top it all off with poor lighting, in the form of a political conspiracy by the Americans to outmaneuver the Soviets in the space race. A Cold War issue.

The Apollo 11 program worked in favor of the United States back on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. 55 years and 2 months later, people are still wondering if the conspiracy is actually true. Hopping on the wagon, UFC commentator Joe Rogan and popular YouTuber Matt Walsh talked about the moon landing and why Elon Musk cannot confirm the theory even if he finds out the truth.

During a recent edition of the Joe Rogan Podcast, Matt Walsh revealed that the only person in the world who can convince him that the moon landing was fake is Elon Musk. According to the YouTuber, Musk has the credentials to be a true credible source in the matter due to his running SpaceX and his links with NASA. However, Rogan believed that the same links could become the reason behind his secrecy. According to the UFC commentator, Musk can take a hit on his reputation if he makes the major claim. Something that can affect the $843 million contract he has with NASA, as he will most likely not have the proof to back his claim.

He said, “It is persuasive, definitely, but also, he has a contract with NASA, and he has to be very careful about what he says and does. For him to say something incredibly insane like, “We never went to the moon,” even if he believes it, that would be a big risk with zero reward. Because, as you’ve said, there’s no way to prove that we didn’t go to the moon. And to say that we didn’t go to the moon is a cook take, like, “What the hell is wrong with you?”

From the historical event of the moon landing began what has come to be called the conspiracy theory of the moon landings. According to it, between 1969 and 1972, NASA falsified all the expeditions to our satellite by order of the United States Government due to the Cold War. An event that led to an intense competition between the two blocs. But what arguments do they make, as is there any truth to it?

The points that lead the theory Joe Rogan discussed!

The biggest point made in any discussion of the theory suggests that the moon landing is fake because the American flag seems to be waving as if a breeze were moving it. Considering that there is no air on the lunar surface, that could not happen. However, there is a basic explanation behind it. The flag moved because the inertia of the movement was maintained when placing the flag. The fact that there is no atmosphere on the lunar surface means that there is no resistance to movement. So a flag on the Moon will always move for a longer period in a vacuum than in our atmosphere.

Have an interesting take?

Another theory that leads the way is that there were only two astronauts, so who took the picture? Well, the answer is that the cameras were mounted on the astronauts’ chests. The structures that can be seen in their suits. In addition, on Buzz Aldrin’s helmet, the planet Earth appears as a tiny point of light. The final theory that can be easily tackled is that according to skeptics, the lander’s landing should have been accompanied by a large cloud of dust. And, in addition, they would have left a crater. So, has the moon landing finally been debunked? No, because just before landing on the satellite, the module’s engines were stopped and were not ignited long enough to form a crater.

Many other theories keep hitting the internet. Many might or might not been debunked yet. However, it is interesting to see how quickly the word spreads in this day and age. But what do you think? Did the Apollo 11 crew actually walk on the moon, or was it all staged? Let us know in the comments.
