Quinton Jackson and Joe Rogan gave surprising news to the UFC fans. Brace yourselves because ‘Rampage’ Jackson just appeared in Joe Rogan’s podcast and posted about it! It is almost impossible to imagine this as UFC buffs already know the level of rivalry they had that started nearly 11 years ago. It was not surprising for fans to see that Jackson was never invited to JRE. However, now things have changed and a recent Instagram post tells us the news.

Recently, Jackson took to his official Instagram handle to upload a picture with Rogan and the caption read, Damn I look like my lil brother in this pic. @joerogan has the best podcast, but y’all already knew this.” Both the podcaster and Jackson looked happy posing with each other and it finally seems that a decade-long beef has settled down. In the past, the color commentator and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion have commented against each other on several occasions.

Jackson revealed previously that Rogan’s biased commentary during his fights had played a huge role in him not coming to his podcast. Speaking to the No Jumper podcast he had said, “Joe and I, we’ve always been cool, but then after a couple of fights in the UFC, he noticed that I wasn’t checking leg kicks and that I wasn’t throwing a lot of legs kicks so he got real voice about it and with social media, I had a lot of MMA fans talking s**t, talking about, ‘Man, you don’t know how to kick, and you don’t know how to check leg kicks.’ It just got annoying.”

The 46-year-old even dissed Rogan 11 years ago when the interviewer asked Rampage Jackson about his idea of a fight between him and Rogan. He replied that he would have beaten thesh*t out of Joe Rogan. However, the UFC fighter was also well aware of the color commentator’s jiu-jitsu skills and said that it would be tough if the fight went to the ground and the duo started grappling.

However, all of this seems to be in the past and both the veterans have since then apologised to one another and are on better terms. Now Jackson has been invited to the Joe Rogan Experience, and this gave the fans a field day on social media.

With almost 16 million subscribers, the JRE podcast is one of the most famous shows on YouTube. Rogan always invites UFC and MMA stars on his show and even people from other industries. However, ‘Rampage’ had never made an appearance on his show. The past rivalry was to be blamed for this, but now everything has changed and fans are excited.

One UFC buff commented, “Biased against jiujitsu guys but also blows them,” while another said, “Oh s**t! It finally happened?! HELL YEAH honestly had no idea why it took forever.” Indeed, the collaboration took forever, but the reasons were quite obvious. After Rogan commented that Jackson did not check his leg kicks, this did not sit well with the former champ and that was the start of the feud.

‘Rampage’ also once spoke about Rogan’s bias over BJJ and one fan pointed out that this might come up in the podcast. They said, “Waiting for all the jiu-jitsu jokes that’ll be made in this,” while another fan acted as if they knew this would happen and said, “Thank god I don’t have to keep this a secret anymore!!!!”
