Amid the recent Johnny Depp – Amber Heard saga, an old clip of Rogan is resurfacing on the internet. During an episode of his famous Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Brendan Schaub, they discussed the celebrity couple.
Rogan tried to explain what must have gone through Depp’s mind and how he unknowingly set himself up. He mentioned the Hollywood superstar’s infamous spending spree with his then spouse Amber Heard.

Rogan said, “This is just a theory. But I think that one of the things about a guy like Johnny Depp is if you want… and I don’t know this Amber Heard lady who he was living with. She seems nice enough to me, very beautiful. Matter of fact I read somewhere that she was… like some computer program said that she was the most beautiful person alive.”
“My thought is, but she’s beautiful. My thought is when you’re a dude like him and you got a girl like that and like… you’re having a great time. Like one of the great things to do is probably just buy a ton of sh*t and just impress this girl and take her on this journey,” he added.
Joe Rogan on Johnny Depp’s sad state
Rogan has stayed active in this controversy surrounding the love-hate relationship between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. The couple got separated in 2016. As a result, the Pirates of the Caribbean superstar looked disturbed.
Joe Rogan had an intense discussion about it with Joey Diaz on his podcast back in 2018. During the podcast, the two discussed how Depp got removed from the Pirates franchise by Disney.
Rogan said. “Well, Johnny’s off the rails right now. He’s shaved his head, Johnny Depp, he looks like he weighs 35 pounds, he shaved his head, he’s falling out of his jeans. Whenever you get like two tattoos of a woman, you’ve only been married for like six months, these are all bad signs.”
His guest, Uncle Joey, agreed to what Rogan had to say.
