In his appearance in the episode no. 2122 of the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience), comedian Mark Normand paraphrased McGregor as he stated to Joe Rogan, “Acting is harder than UFC, coz he’s in Road House, that was a quote from Conor…”, this prompted the podcast host to respond by stating, “Okay, act in Road House or fight Khabib again, shut the f**k up, that is crazy talk.”

And in a recent conversation on the JRE MMA show no. 154 with Matt Sera, Din Thomas, and Jon Rallo, Rogan highlighted another perspective on McGregor’s acting venture. When the topic of ‘Road House’ came up, Rogan exclaimed that he had yet to see the film.

Matt Sera, who brought up the topic of the film then exclaimed, “And let me tell you, Conor, what an actor, did his f**king self. People are like, yo what an actor, he’s going to take the world of Hollywood by storm, he’s playing himself basically!”

Rogan responded by stating, “Couldn’t he play himself in a bunch of movies? I bet Guy Ritchie’s on speed dial with him right now…”. But Din Thomas interjected by claiming, “But all he had was a lot of one liners, so it’s easy to deliver one liners”

As such, Rogan revealed “Listen, Conor McGregor could be a movie star, easy. If the Rock can do it, you don’t think Conor Mcgregor can do it? 100% he could do it, and he’s a character man, look at him, he’s a f**king character dude.”

In conclusion, it appears that Joe Rogan’s views on Conor McGregor’s Hollywood aspirations have evolved, despite initially criticizing McGregor’s remarks about the challenges of acting. And his latest endorsement adds fuel to the speculation surrounding McGregor’s future in the entertainment industry.
