Joe Rogan has termed Francis Ngannou as one of the scariest men, even before his heavyweight championship status. Subsequently, ‘The Predator’ proved him right by winning the UFC heavyweight championship. To add to that, he won it from the UFC heavyweight GOAT.

A stand-up comedian, actor, and writer Yannis Pappas joined Rogan on his infamous JRE podcast. With the issue concerning the nations going on in the world, Rogan and Pappas discussed a hypothetical scenario where the world leaders would fight each other to handle a war situation and no other men/women need to get involved.
Rogan didn’t like President of the United States, Joe Biden’s chances in an imaginary bout with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Thus, he wondered, “Who’s the best person, the best representative of the United States?”
After a quick thought, Rogan suggested, “We would have to use Francis Ngannou.”
Since Ngannou is from Africa, Rogan gave an explanation of why Ngannou could represent the U.S. Rogan said, “he is like at least officially, he’s a UFC heavyweight champion that lives in America.”
Rogan, who has always been appreciative of ‘The Predator’ said, “That’s our king.”

However, the conversation was just a hypothetical thought. Also, with Rogan, it is not something new as he has built this brand with such conversation and open talk about various real and imaginary topics.
Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou still has a bad knee and will be out of the action from Octagon till next year. Also, the contract disputes with the UFC could see him part ways from the promotion. However, Dana White doesn’t think it would go that extreme.
Joe Rogan wanted Francis Ngannou to get the limelight
After losing to Stipe Miocic in their first fight at UFC 220 and a follow-up loss to Derrick Lewis, Ngannou ran through the UFC heavyweight division. At that time, Rogan wanted to see Jon Jones fight Francis Ngannou, but one thing was concerning him.

“The only thing that I would hope if that ever happens is that we allow Ngannou to get the press that he deserves. It’s like to pump him up in the way that he deserves. To make that fight as big…”
Rogan believed that apart from hardcore MMA fans, Ngannou has still work to do in terms of his popularity.
