With the stress of the American presidential elections, the whole wide world is left in anticipation of who will become the next POTUS. Needless to say, Joe Rogan is also in wait for the elections to conclude in November. The beloved UFC color commentator has often weighed in on the political aspects of things. But now, he has revealed what the people desire from their leaders. 

The American presidential election is fought between two parties, the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. With minimized choices offered by the 2-party system, Rogan has pointed out the issues with the elections.

Joe Rogan reveals the problem with American presidential elections

In episode #2191 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan and Russell Crowe discuss the upcoming elections in America. Rogan criticizes the leaders’ speeches as they make promises of what they would do if they get into the office, while already working at the office for a few years. The JRE host declared that people simply want to believe such promises. He said, “We want someone to be the person that rescues us from whatever situation we’re currently in, and that’s always been the case.”

The Hollywood star pointed out that America was not the only country affected by the elections. Its effects traveled to lands in the other hemisphere, like Australia, as well. He claimed that the world of politics did not have “people of quality stepping into that world anymore.”

Needless to say, Rogan agreed with Crowe. Even though there were too many worthy candidates in the public, they didn’t want to step up for the elections. It was indeed a problem in the modern world, and Rogan knew it. He said, “It’s a real problem. It’s only going to get worse.” With people wanting to know about the long-lost history of the electoral candidates, Rogan urged the public to focus on the elections at hand. He continued, “Like, we have to put that s*** aside, recognize that people are just human beings, and stop dragging out old s*** just to make your party win because it ruins the entire system.”

But Rogan wasn’t done yet! He went on to disagree with the limited choices offered by a 2-party system. Rogan claimed that it was nothing but a trap. “I don’t know what your political system is like, but we’re completely trapped in this two-party system,” he said.

JRE host was left in awe with an outstanding speech

Not too long ago, the 56-year-old podcaster sent forth his compliments to Kamala Harris as she greatly improved her public speaking prowess, as per Rogan. The words that impressed the JRE host were, “I do hope you’ll reconsider meeting me on the debate stage because as the saying goes if you got something to say, say it to my face!” 

As soon as the video of Harris’ speech ended playing, Rogan claimed that she absolutely “crushed it!” There were no stammers or missing words in the speech. On top of that, Harris was pretty joyful to listen to. It was indeed a big moment for Harris, with Rogan claiming that her laugh “made sense there for the first time!” With Joe Biden dropping his re-election bid, Harris was the worthy candidate from the Democratic Party, in the UFC commentator’s opinion.
