After stirring up controversy last time, Terrence Howard returned to JRE on the first day of July. It’s been just a month since the Hollywood actor made an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience episode #2152 on May 18. Known for his candid nature in Hollywood, and unafraid to speak his mind, Howard’s recent appearance has again got people talking.
Last time on JRE, Howard shared his unconventional beliefs, including his assertion that everyone is wrong and his claims about the universe are right. His discussion also touched on his belief that humans are on the brink of defying gravity among other bold claims. The ‘Iron Man’ star’s claims had ruffled more than a few feathers and many had called for an open discussion between Howard and a scientific expert to be held on JRE.
So this time he was joined by the managing director of Thiel Capital, Eric Weinstein, who holds a PhD in mathematics from Harvard. in mathematical physics from Harvard University and is a member of the Galileo Project research team. They discussed space sectors and applied physics among other topics.

Like last time, renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson was again the topic of discussion for Howard. “I want to be able to show you the things that I tried to show Neil deGrasse Tyson that he would not even and really take a look at,” the Hollywood actor told Weinstein.
This led to Rogan jumping in the defense of Tyson as he said, “No, he did take a look at it. He responded in a long video recently.” Both Rogan and Howard went back on forth on Tyson, with the Empire actor calling his response, “disingenuous.” Howard and Weinstein also had a debate over one of the actor’s claims.
Howard talked about producing a super-symmetrical structure, and Weinstein questioned him if he knew what the concept was. The actor replied, “Supersymmetry means that all things come together, fit together, relate to each other. They’re self-referential…” but Weinstein cut him off saying, “You’re using a reserved term … and you’re using it incorrectly and you’re going to pay a penalty.”
Although the latest installment of the non-exclusive Spotify show served this purpose well, it came with one major blowback! This episode caught the attention of the audience and fans who couldn’t believe Terrence Howard’s second appearance just 19 episodes later.
Some fans criticized Howard’s appearance on the podcast and pointed their fingers at Rogan on Reddit for entertaining the 55-year-old. Let’s see what they had to say.
“Shows how easy Joe can be to fool,” Rogan under fire for second Terrance Howard interview in under two months
Last time, Terrence Howard told Rogan that he holds 97 patents, including the first one for augmented and virtual reality technology. He also claimed that companies like Microsoft and Amazon cite his work. This time around, he again brought up his patents, to which Weinstein responded, “I don’t want to go there. The patents do not speak to what you think that they speak to.”
One Reddit commented, “My brain is broken and I haven’t even started listening”. After Howard’s first appearance on JRE, the UFC color commentator was intrigued by his theories and analysis and even took to Instagram to praise him. Rogan wrote, “I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of mixed reviews, but as crazy as some of the things this man is saying are, he’s clearly brilliant, and if he’s right it’s going to change the world.” Clearly, Rogan was impressed but the fans are not.
Unhappy with Howard being on JRE again, an angry fan agreed, stating, “Definitely shows how easy Joe can be to fool”.

Howard had talked about “killing gravity” and how the issue with the Pythagorean Theorem is that ancient mathematicians believed the world was flat. With Rogan seemingly in agreement, one fan questioned Rogan’s understanding of basic science and math, saying, “Exactly. He can barely do simple arithmetic and subtraction in his head.“
Meanwhile, one JRE listener expressed shock at Howard’s return to the podcast just 19 episodes later, saying, “19 episodes later and Terrence Howard’s back, must be one of the fastest turnarounds in recent JRE history.“
Howard also made some bizarre claims in the May 18 episode of JRE. He said that he remembers everything from the time he was in his mother’s womb and said that the straight lines are an illusion.
