Before the co-main event commenced, the promotion honored Joanna Jędrzejczyk with her rightful Hall of Fame induction. Joanna Jędrzejczyk is a true legend who has a brilliant record of 16 wins and only five losses.

She has now become one of the few women in the Hall of Fame joining former fighter Ronda Rousey who previously fought in the bantamweight and featherweight divisions of the UFC. Many believe that she secured legendary status the day she declared an all-out war against the current reigning strawweight champion, Weili Zhang. The fight was brutal and was dubbed by many as the greatest fight in the history of any women’s division.

During the fight, Jędrzejczyk suffered a knee to the head which immediately took its toll. Her forehead was swollen and by the end of the fight, looked rather damaged. Regardless, she paid no heed to it and kept fighting ahead just for the title. In the end, she came up a bit too short but regardless, she managed to give the MMA community a great show.
