Joanna Jedrzejczyk is one of the biggest names in women’s MMA today. She is a former UFC strawweight champion and defended her title five times before dropping it. The Polish fighter trains at American Top Team and is teammates with Kayla Harrison.

Harrison is a bona fide star now in mixed martial arts. She is a former two-time Olympic gold medalist and a two-time PFL women’s lightweight tournament winner. However, she is currently a free agent and there is a lot of speculation regarding her future. Given the star she is and the weight her name carries, many want to see her in the UFC. Her current teammate, Jedrzejczyk, also chimed in on the debate and had her say.

The former UFC champion said, “I would love to see her in the UFC, but like I said, she has to get paid. She won PFL two times, she won a million bucks a few times. She doesn’t have to fight for small money and she always brings the extra attention, she always performs very well. So, she needs to get paid and I feel like the UFC should consider having Kayla Harrison in the UFC.”

Her statement again brings in the UFC fighter pay issue, and she could be hinting at that. Harrison is definitely one of the biggest MMA stars out there right now and would want to be paid well if the UFC signs her.

However, her future is still up in limbo after the talks of resigning with PFL stalled.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk reveals the hardest puncher she ever faced

The Polish fighter has faced some of the biggest stars in the sport in her career. She is a former UFC champion and has fought the likes of Rose Namajunas and Zhang Weili inside the octagon.

Jedrzejczyk has also been in some absolute wars and was recently asked about her fights with ‘Thug Rose‘ and ‘Magnum.’ While talking about who hit harder amongst the two, she revealed a surprise name as the hardest hitter she ever faced. She said, “You know who hit the hardest? Valerie Letourneau. She was the hardest puncher I have ever fought… So Valerie and then Rose.”

Despite Letourneau being the hardest hitter she ever faced, she showed a striking masterclass and defended her belt.
