Jan Blachowicz has successfully risen from the position of the underdog to the champion. From almost losing his UFC career in 2017 to becoming the title holder of the light heavyweight division, he has come a long way. Before joining UFC, the fighter fought for KSW in Poland and was an essential part of the promotion.

The Polish fighter started competing in the UFC back in 2014. To excel as a fighter in the UFC, he had made a decision to change his trainer and camp. Unfortunately, this change did not work out in his favor, as his performances remained underwhelming. As a result, he returned to his previous trainer, eventually making steady improvements.

Despite winning against fighters like Luke Rockhold and Corey Anderson, he was still considered an underdog. However, his wins against Dominick Reyes and Israel Adesanya really boosted his star power at UFC and opened doors for much better opponents. He owns a stellar record of 28-8-0.

Jan Blachowicz: What is the fighter’s net worth?

Blachowicz has an estimated net worth of $3 million in 2021.

His UFC debut fight against Ilir Latifi earned him about $47,000. However, the rough patch in his career also caused his pay to drop to about $36,000 per fight. With patience, persistence, and hard work, Blachowicz returned with a bang and defeated Devin Clark at UFC 118 in 2017. This not only saved his UFC career but also earned him his first six-figure pay. Since then, his pay has been about $50,000 per fight and a bonus of $50,000 to win.

The fighter’s earnings mostly come from fights, winning bonuses, and a Reebok sponsorship. On his Instagram, he also promotes products from Zew for Men- a cosmetic brand as well as Predator Energy Drink.
