Today at AT&T Stadium in Texas, 27-year-old influencer and boxer Jake Paul scored his biggest yet most infamous win of his career by defeating the 58-year-old Mike Tyson via unanimous decision in their 8-round professional bout. Despite losing the first two rounds, Paul triumphed in the blockbuster Netflix event in Dallas. Riding high on his victory, Jake Paul is now eyeing a “red panty night” against UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
Earlier today, ‘Notorious’ wasn’t pleased with Paul’s win over Tyson, targeting ‘The Problem Child’ in a now-deleted tweet, saying, “They’re eyeing Prichard Colon for the next opponent.” In response, Jake Paul challenged Conor McGregor to an MMA bout, tweeting, “Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”

These days, Conor McGregor has been struggling to secure a fight and an opponent to end his 3-year-long hiatus from the octagon. His much-anticipated return fight at UFC 303 fell through, which was supposed to mark the end of the Irishman’s absence from the UFC. Now, Mystic Mac is looking to get back into the scene, with his long-awaited opponent, Michael Chandler scheduled to face Charles Oliveira this weekend after 18 months of frustration.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Jake Paul has called out Conor McGregor. Earlier this summer, Paul voiced his challenge, only to be swiftly dismissed by UFC veteran Michael Bisping.

In an attempt to get Conor McGregor’s attention, Jake Paul called out the now-part owner of BKFC after McGregor encouraged Mike Perry to accept a boxing match against Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ escalated the feud by questioning McGregor’s willpower, stating online, “Mike Perry is a f—king beast and has a lot more balls than the little leprechaun.”

The comment didn’t sit well with UFC legend Michael Bisping, who, despite not always seeing eye-to-eye with Conor McGregor, stood firmly in his defense. In a now-deleted tweet, Bisping slammed Paul for disrespecting McGregor, a two-division UFC champion. Bisping wrote, “The ‘little leprechaun’ [very original, by the way] is one of the greatest fighters the UFC has ever seen. He also won the featherweight title. Do your thing, but please, for f**k sake, stop trying to sound tough.”
All eyes are now on Conor McGregor and his potential response to Jake Paul‘s challenge. Could Jake Paul truly pose a worthy challenge for the Irishman? With a towering height advantage and a weight of 227 pounds compared to McGregor’s preferred 170 pounds, Paul holds a clear physical edge. But how would that translate into a fight between the two?
